Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
The guide is a digital file you can download the moment you pay. Because of that it is sold without the usual 14-day right to cancel, which you agree to at checkout. In plain terms: we cannot un-give you the file, so we do not refund a change of mind.
That said, we are not looking to keep money we have not earned.
We will refund you if
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- The file is corrupted or will not open, and we cannot fix it for you.
- You never received a working download link and we were unable to get one to you.
- Someone used your card without permission. Tell us and we will refund it, no argument.
We will not refund you if
- You have downloaded the guide and simply decided you did not want it.
- You already knew some of the places in it.
- A restaurant, bar or shop we recommend has closed, moved, changed hands or disappointed you.
- A partner promo code has expired or been withdrawn by that business.
The free preview exists so you can see the style and the level of detail before you pay. Please use it.
How to ask
Email hola@vlc-guide.com from the address you paid with, within 30 days of your purchase. Tell us what happened. You do not need an order number. We can find you by email.
We reply within a few days. Approved refunds go back through Stripe to the card you paid with, and usually appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
Before you ask for a refund
Most of the problems we see are a download link that expired or was used up, and those take a minute to fix. Email us and we will issue a new one, and you probably do not need a refund at all.
Your legal rights
Nothing here removes your rights as a consumer. If the guide is not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you keep every remedy the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you, and if you live in the EEA, every remedy your own national consumer law gives you.
